Peer pressure is a...

Change that age to 25 31 and that is ME!! Like seriously, I've written blogs that read "pro" Obama and I've written blogs that are "anti" Obama but that's how I am. I'm an equal opportunist and don't show my "hand" so to speak. Just because I write what may seem as though I'm able to think for myself against the grain I get reemed and heckled and blacklisted ostracized by some folks. I would think that at this point that most folks would know by now that I'm not a sheep and just because it's the "popular" thing to do doesn't mean that I'm doing it, especially when it comes to politics. Around some message boards and blogs that I visit, it's black Obama or nothing. Either you're with them or against the entire race them...either they're voting for Obama or not voting at all! Really is politics really that black and white?? (no pun intended) That's a rhetorical question because I already know that its not and is it really THAT serious?? I know the answer to that too...that 'secret' just stuck out to me because I can relate to what the poster is saying...

I've had my share of fun life learning peer pressured or inducing peer pressure moments including those listed on the picture, but it's easy to get caught up in the rigamarole of this election and lose sight of what is important politcally, candidate stance wise, at least for me it is. I'm used to being the peer pressurer not the pressuree...Even though it's well known in my "circle" of friends that I'm a Republican I've never gotten "this" much pressure to conform. I guess because I have been seemingly on the fence about who I'm voting for they feel like I haven't decided who I'm voting for (but I have..)I know at the end of the day in November, there won't be any peer pressure on who I'll be casting my ballot for as I'm standing ALONE in that booth. I'll continue to do my own due diligence on the candidates, pray and cast my ballot..either way, change is a coming!

Brown..out!
